
Guidelines for Abstract Submission
Abstract Preparation:
● Abstracts must be written in English.
● The text should not exceed 300 words, excluding the title, authors, and affiliations.
● The abstract title should be concise and reflect the content of the abstract.
● List all authors' names (with surnames or initials if any) and affiliations
● Indicate the corresponding author and provide a contact email address.
● Following the Abstract, give most relevant 3 to 5 Keywords pertaining to the study. Do not repeat the words in the title.
Content Structure :
● Begin with a brief introduction that outlines the background and purpose of the study.
● Clearly state the methods, results, and conclusions.
● Avoid using abbreviations unless they are defined.
● The content should be original and not previously published.
Submission Format:
● Abstracts must be submitted to the DAA12 abstract submission form.
● Ensure that figures, tables, or references are not included in the abstract.
Submission Process:
● Create an account and log in with your credentials on the DAA12 website.
● Click on "Submit abstract" button and fill the contents of the form (Session, mode of presentation, title, authors,corresponding author email, abstract & keywords ). Select the relevant session under which your abstract falls and mode of
presentation (Oral/Poster). However, decision on the mode of presentation rests with the screening committee.
● Once submitted, an acknowledgment of receipt will be sent to the corresponding author’s email.
Review and Acceptance:
● All abstracts will undergo a peer-review process by the scientific committee.
● Notification of acceptance will be sent via email along with presentation guidelines.
● Accepted abstracts will be scheduled for either oral or poster presentation.
Deadlines:
● Please adhere to the abstract submission deadlines -10 July 2025.
● Late submissions may not be considered for presentation.
Mandatory Requirements:
● Payment of registration fee and registration by at least one of the authors is mandatory for participation and inclusion of abstract in the Book of Abstracts.
● By submitting an abstract, the author(s) make(s) a commitment that the work is original and has not been published before, in any manner.
● Submission of an abstract also implies that the authors have all the mandatory approvals for doing so and that the content is devoid of plagiarism/ similarity.
● For all issues arising out of the abstract being placed in the public domain, the authors will be solely responsible.

Guidelines for Preparation and Display of Poster
Posters provide a visual summary of your research for conference delegates. They should be self-explanatory, allowing viewers to understand the content independently, while you can discuss specific points during interactions.
Language: Posters should be in English, with clear labels and headlines.
Contents: Include the title, author(s) name, affiliations, email ID, and Abstract ID at the top. Add DAA12 logo. The content should cover Introduction, Material and Methods, Results and Discussion, Conclusion, References, and Acknowledgements (if any), in a double-column format.
Text: Use concise, bulleted summaries. Avoid long sentences.
Font: Follow the guidelines in the provided poster template for font size and style, using ‘Calibri, Arial, Segoe UI ’ or similar fonts. Avoid curved and fancy typefaces.
Visuals: Include tables, figures, and photos, with appropriate legends and size.
Mounting: Posters will be mounted on designated panels. Organizing staff will assist with location and provide double-sided tape.
General Tips: Keep the poster simple and uncluttered. Prepare visuals first, then add text. Rehearse a brief summary of your work for viewers.
